From the Gold Coast

By Bus:Buses regularly depart the Surfers Paradise bus terminal for the Brisbane Transit Centre. Catch the Citytrain from the Transit Centre to Cleveland where the Courtesy buses take you straight to the vehicular ferry or water taxi services. The vehicular ferry and water taxis connect with the North Stradbroke Island bus service at Dunwich.

By Car:Cleveland is less than an hour from Surfers Paradise. Take the Bryants Road/Redland Bay exit and follow the signs to Cleveland. The water taxis and vehicular ferry leaves Toondah Harbour, Middle Street, Cleveland.

Note: It is advisable to book your vehicular ferry trip well in advance as space on the ferry service fills up quickly during holiday periods.

When you arrive at Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island, if you have caught the water taxi, you can connect with the North Stradbroke Island bus service at Dunwich. Straddie Escape is just a short walk from the last drop off point. If you have taken your car, turn left at the first intersection with the little shopping centre (bottle shop, hot bread kitchen, newsagent, café etc) and then continue straight along this road. Straddie Escape is on top of the hill at the end of this road overlooking Main Beach.

You can collect the keys from Reception on the ground floor of the complex.
